TMN is established with the objectives to fulfill the Great Commission in Bangkok where only .04% is Christian. We aim to use our connections and experience in the country to publicize the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We plan to bring thousands of Thais to Christ yearly.
“Time to Rest Your Heart” is the radio program designed to provide Christian based counseling to the Thais who are struggling with depressions, addictions, abuses and other hindrances keeping them from walking in complete freedom. We aim to teach them the moral, values, and concepts of Christian living. We will introduce Jesus Christ as the wonderful Counselor to them with salvation being the ultimate goal. We believe that through Jesus, they will find solutions to their problems and true peace for their souls. We found that the short and effective way to win Thai people to Christ is first to heal their hearts, set the captives free and bring liberty to the oppressed (Luke 4:18).
Our TV program, “English for Life” is designed to teach English to the young people by using the sentences comprising Christian morals and values. As their interest in speaking English is increased, we take it as an opportunity to use English as a mean to introduce Christian teachings. In short, our strategy is to help them solve their problems first in order to open their hearts before presenting them the gospel.
Our office will also be used as a Counseling Center. The radio and TV programs will allow the people to call and come in to our center to counsel with their problems. The well trained counselors will be on call during day and evening hours. We will work with the local churches in continuing to nurture the new believers.
To put the love of God into more action, we also have a plan to set up a Second Chance Center to actually help the unfortunate people, as part of our pre and post evangelism programs. The SC center aims to provide them with new career training, scholarships, shelter, food, clothes, medicine, emergency funds and etc to meet their immediate needs.
Please pray for us as we share the life of Christ with the Thais. Pray that God would give mercy to their souls. Pray that God will soften their hearts so that they will receive salvation by grace through Christ. Pray that more Christians in USA will have more compassion for the lost Thais.
